Riverside, CA – 07/10/2017 (PRESS RELEASE) - Cory Vaughan, founder of CRV Consulting Services providing consulting and advisement for renewable energy companies in the Americas has joined forces with Lamb Energy, Inc. starting May 22, 2017 as Executive Vice President. Lamb Energy has gathered together an expert team of energy professionals working in unison to deliver cutting-edge energy solutions to their clients.

Cory Vaughan is an accomplished, innovative, and performance-focused senior executive with a highly successful 25+ year career in global renewable energy. Cory has served effectively at all levels of executive management overseeing sales, marketing, strategy, business development, and M&A. Mr. Vaughan has a solid business acumen and a strong record of market penetration successes while building and maintaining key relationships with industry executives and leaders.

Cory has held numerous executive titles with several industry frontrunners. As the Senior Director of Strategic Development for Sol Systems, Inc., he covered project origination efforts nationally and worked with developers and other sponsors seeking capital for commercial-scale distributed generation and utility-scale solar projects and portfolios.  In 2006, he joined startup SunEdison as its first Sales Director. In the decade of service, he held several roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as Managing Director of Business Development and M&A. While at SunEdison, Cory was credited for selling or assisting in the sale of over 650 solar projects.

Prior to SunEdison, Vaughan spent a dozen years at the energy giant BP Solar, managing worldwide Balance of System sales, national accounts, and distributor sales for the Americas. While at BP, he and his team grew the distribution and partner network to the largest solar network in North America. He was also a successful business consultant with California-based Applied Excellence, specializing in Marketing, Sales, Administration, and Operations. Post-college, Cory was recruited to join The Price Company (Price Club) and after its merger with Costco Wholesale, joined Costco on the ground floor, working for 13 years to open more than 200 warehouse stores in all areas of management both corporate and regional.

Throughout his career, Mr. Vaughan has completed several executive programs offered by Northwestern University, Harvard Business School, Stanford University, Princeton University, and the BP Marketing Academy at the Kellogg School of Marketing.
